Representing the matrimonial union of Henry VIII and his third wife Jane Seymour, each of the stone sculpted beasts support a shield upon which there is a coat of arms, or a heraldic badge commemorating the dynasty of the famous Tudor King, and his betrothed wife.

This unique coin is the first edition in the Royal Tudor Beasts series released by The Royal Mint and features a beautiful design of the majestic Seymour Panther created by the illustrator David Lawrence on the reverse of this stunning Unpackaged Brilliant Uncirculated £5 Coin. 

The Obverse features Jody Clark’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, illustrating its legal tender status.
